Grounded in the Earth 2022-23

A collection of paintings on recycled wood panels using various paint mediums and creative techniques such as carving and burning into the wood. This series is based on impressions and observations of textures, shapes and colours whilst I walk through and into the bush surrounded by the iconic scribbly gums. I have recently moved to the South coast of NSW which has increased my desire to use my art to illuminate the beauty of these trees to the people who do not see them or love them as I do.
